“The day the earth stood still” flash back with Michael Rennie, it was peace to all man kind in which he offered. The original movie (1951) is a true classic and a must for sci-fi enthusiasts, the music score is excellent with a very eerie feeling.
That sounds like something someone would do and ruin a great opportunity for everyone! Yeah, totally believable!
I presume that we found out how to destroy them or you wouldn’t be here.

If he already knows how to destroy all viruses, that shouldn’t be a problem for him.
The remake wasn’t a patch on the original, despite the CGI effects.
