    I know I learned all my history by looking at statues and enemy flags. Didn’t everyone? I didn’t need any books!

    My history book (in the ’50’s) stated that slaves were for the most part "…happy with their lot.)!

    Oh please. Put all that tripe in a museum and go see it there. If you don’t want to erase the past then erect a monument for every slave that lived in the South….

    My high school history failed to include all the Americans who were of Japanese descent on the west coast being rounded up to live in camps under guard, and also lose most of their property. I had to learn about it from my father whose best friend was sent to a form of a prison, just because of where his father was born. So they were jailing kids back in the 1940s.
