The area in question is in the gay section of Seattle, Capital Hill. There are food trucks, flower stands, couches to sit on. Anyone can walk through it unharmed. The streets are being painted in bright colors. There are a few armed leftists but Wash state is an open carry state and gay leftists own guns too.

I haven’t heard of Seattle burning down, so what’s the point of this cartoon. Sounds like the citizenry can police themselves quite well. Can anybody tell what the crime rate is in that part of the city?

Some of it is probably just timing. But some of it (there’s a study, of course) is the fact that the single most predictive factor in whether a gathering turns violent is… wait for it… how violent the police are. In other words, the Giant Orange Bloviator and his gang have once again got hold of the wrong end of the stick. No surprise.
