‘America is failing the test’: Paul Krugman issues dire warning about COVID-19 as cases surge in multiple states
Even though the COVID-19 pandemic hasn’t been in headlines as much over the last two weeks, the disease is still killing roughly 1,000 Americans a day and many states are seeing surges in cases.
In his latest New York Times column, Paul Krugman argues that the United States has all but given up on trying to contain the novel coronavirus and is instead resigning itself to thousands more people dying of the disease.
While even countries such as Italy and Spain have seen dramatic drops in new COVID-19 cases despite getting hit hard by the disease early on, the United States is still averaging more than 20,000 new cases a day, and the new number of cases has only dropped marginally from a month ago.
Writing on Twitter, Krugman also cites a Washington Post article showing that new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are surging in states such as California, Arizona and Texas.
Exclusive only to Red states wherein disregard for their constituencies lives is oft fore told. This time it’ll be a literal boomerang coming back for the GOP’s demise. Ah, the sights of same shall be sweet to the eye. They can all go to damnation with Trump.
Republicans are dedicating 10s of millions of dollars to fight voting by mail – and what just happened in Georgia is the desired result -Red States will, by and large, fight tooth and nail to keep the voters going to the polls while at the same time keeping those same voters from ACTUALLY voting – this is the last, dying gasp of the republican party; their admission that they CANNOT WIN a fair and equable election.
This election people in the past who wouldn’t go anywhere and wait to vote have changed. Now they are willing to wait hours, walk over broken glass, stand in pouring rain and take a sack lunch and put on Depends if necessary. Wonder what changed all that? Trump thinking we need four more years of insanity.

That’s the sign the “Republicans” want to use nationwide to augment their usual election “engineering”.

I’m more concerned about the viruses in the voting machines, tabulators, and election commission computer systems.
