    Yes, they do.

Did you see the charge against the man who fired the gun? “Shooting at a police officer”.

The police get special protection. You kill me, it is a crime. You kill a police officer, or shoot him, it is a special crime. His life matters more than mine?

I am proud of our police, and want them protected. But with special protections come extra responsibilities, which MUST be fulfilled.

Yes Mikey all lives matter. So when can we get Millionaire white guys like Stephen Paddock from massacring white people?

I’m sure Mike would say we can’t because Gun rights matter more that Human rights.

Of course, “Lives Matter.” All lives matter. Well, except “suspicious” black males. Oh, and except “thugs” and “anarchists.” Oh, and except the elderly, especially if they have underlying health issues. Oh, and except . . . .

Hey Mike how about the shooting of David Dorn of St. louis? Until one will judge a person by their character and not their skin we will be stuck in this rut forever. Works both ways also.

It’s true that all lives matter. But it’s also true that black lives matter AND have a significantly larger chance of being snuffed (or just abused) by cops. Of course, cops are also at greater than average risk, but cops decide to take that risk when they take the job… which isn’t an option for folks of color. And it’s true that Mikalonis was shot with an actual bullet, not teargas, not rubber bullets, not by a bully in a uniform, and not choked to death in custody. But it is also true that this particular shooting was at least facilitated by the fact that a black man was murdered by a cop who was aided and abetted by three other cops. Absent the racist behavior of Milwaukee and other cops, this protest would never have happened.

I see these cartoons and I see only one point of view. there are other cartoonists that see only the other point of view. I’m not american, but why are there fewer and fewer that see both sides of an issue?

Here are the inconvenient facts…2019 had 9 unarmed blacks killed by police and 19 whites. Meanwhile there were 7407 homicides of blacks, which makes the police killings of blacks a 0.1% of the total. BTW Chicago had more than 9 blacks killed by other blacks over Memorial day WEEKEND> Finally, the police are 18 1/2 times more likely to get killed by blacks than blacks are to be killed by police. Remember this next time some liberal wants to justify burning a city to the ground.

For all those who want to complain about “police brutality” I have the perfect solution – you and your family all JOIN THE FORCE and show us how to introduce change from within. Easy to sit back and use platitudes and funky statistics to show how superior you are to the common cop!

The Nazia gave meth and other drugs to “charge up” the troops. I wonder if these killing/abusive officers are being give drug tests. OR, are they just racist buillies?

The way to solve the looting, rioting problem is to figure out that the rioting is NOT the problem, it is the reaction to the problem. The police have always been the community paid employees of the respectable members of society. Respectability was largely determined by how much money a person had. The son of the owner of the local factory could get away with just about anything. The girl he raped was probably asking for it. The speed limit- oh well, boys will be boys, the fight obviously was the other guy’s fault. The police have accepted their role as the newer version of the castle guard. It isn’t only Black people who have been treated like the enemy of the respectable people, it’s anyone who isn’t considered part of the upper class. There has never been justice in this country. Not that this is confined to this country, it’s worldwide. Some people have always been more equal than others.

Apparently Black Lives Matter only when the incident can be used to the BLM advantage. What about the life of Mr. Dorn in St. Louis and FSP Officer Underwood in Oakland. There was a memorial march for Mr. Dorn today and 100 people showed up – and no one from BLM.
