It’s sad that we’ve ceded the exploration of space to private companies.

Big deal. It’s was little more than an opportunity for a speech by an orange blowhard trying to skirt the problem of the virus and racism.

It was interesting to watch Trump on Fox News patting himself on the back for the achievement. Who will he blame if something goes wrong ?

That eagle looks utterly disgusted. Was that intentional, I wonder?

So on the same day we have a rocket launch with two astronauts and massive protests throughout the country. I really wish there is a rocket that could zoom us to more fairness and social equality.

Just in passing, I find it amusing that a person who may like their music but certainly does not share their philosophies or politics would choose “beatles” for their profile name.

We’re back, back in space all due to the glorious leadership of our beloved Tiny. Without his leadership it would never have happened.

This is no different than the tax payer’s support of corporate profits that underlies the State Department’s huge budget or the Bureau of Land Management’s leasing of Federal land to mining or other interests. Corporations will make the money and we’ll get the cleanup bill.

Has Trump’s Space Farce left the ground yet?

We don’t have any feds fighting the pandemic but we have a useless Space Force?

It is kind of sad that our new accomplishment- sending two men up in a capsule, happened 55 YEARS ago with the Gemini program. When I was a kid I had the optimism to think we’d be FAR beyond where we’ve got now.

How nice for Ramirez that he’s kind of ignorant. The person behind Space X is Elon Musk, who was born in South Africa. He has triple citizenship in the US, Canada and South Africa.

Too bad we never found an alien monolith on the moon. We’d have more incentive to get out there.
