Marcie has my sympathy, this could be a replay of my early school days’ attempts at sport. I was always useless at any ball games, I was much happier with a book. :)

I know. She’ll tell Marcie to throw it to Who, who’ll throw it to What, who’ll throw it to I Don’t Know. Finally, it’ll be thrown to I Don’t Give A Darn, the shortstop.

For someone who doesn’t know about the game, she knows at least to catch the ball, which is a lot more than some other outfielders that we know of!

This arc is not one of my favorites. There is some issue with one of Patty’s players and Marcie.

Marcie and Peppermint Patty will be swinging.

Beginners luck! Kind of like myself, when given a bowling ball for the first time, rolled it down the aisle and made a strike. I don’t think I ever did it again.

I was picking a four leaf clover in right field and heard everyone screaming and I put my glove over my eyes to shield out the sun to see what the fuss was about and found a ball in it…(not really but it would make a great Peanuts cartoon!)

If there were RISP (runner in scoring position), it would not be an ERA but an Error on Marcie.
