Lucky for Joe, this is the time in American history when it really doesn’t matter what he says or does, because he’s still miles better than the incumbent he’s running against!

I wish the American voters had even a fraction of that luck.

Biden apologized for a rather harmless statement. The Rump tweeted dozens of false and vile statements. One of which falsely accuses a tv host of murder, which caused much pain to the husband of the deceased woman involved. When asked about that tweet and the accusation, the Rump didn’t relent and just perpetuated the vile tweet. But, do we see anything in these vile conservative strips about the Rump’s false and damaging statements?

Trump tweeted sexist and racist remarks all Memorial Day weekend while he golfed.

Trump gets crazier every day. This evening he attacked the NYT again for telling the truth. Republicans just hate truth and reality and health care and education and food stamps for the poor.

39,000,000 are out of work due to the lack of a federal testing program and republicans want to cut Food Stamps, these people are totally insane.

Republican negligence has already killed 100,000 Americans and crippled the economy.

trump blurts many things in a weekend. not sure about my personal favorite this weekend, the attack on a Military Veteran on Memorial Day stands out as #1, insulting women with derogatory names, accusing a person of murder(why isn’t there a Defamation of Character lawsuit on that), now he is infatuated with insulin . . . . . .

Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, has a history of speech and actions that have widely been viewed as racist or racially charged. Journalists, friends, and former employees have accused him of fueling racism in the United States.1234 Trump has repeatedly denied accusations of racism.56

In 1973, Trump and his company Trump Management were sued by the U.S. Department of Justice for housing discrimination against African-American renters; he settled the suit, entering into a consent decree to end the practices without admitting wrongdoing.789 The Justice Department sued again in 1978, claiming continued racial discrimination in violation of the consent decree, but that settlement agreement expired in 1982, ending the case.10

From 2011 to 2016, Trump was the leading proponent of the already-debunked “Birtherism” conspiracy theory that President Barack Obama was not born in the United States.1112 In a notorious and racially charged criminal case, Trump continued to insist, as late as 2019,1314 that a group of black and Latino teenagers were guilty of the 1989 rape of a white woman in the Central Park jogger case, despite the fact that the five had been officially exonerated in 2002, based on a confession by an imprisoned serial rapist that was confirmed by DNA evidence.151617

Trump launched his 2016 presidential campaign with a speech in which he spoke about Mexican immigrants: “They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”1819 He claimed that a judge with “Mexican heritage” should be disqualified from deciding cases against him. He retweeted false statistics claiming that African Americans are responsible for the majority of murders of white Americans, and in some speeches he has repeatedly linked African Americans and Hispanics with violent crime.2021

I’ve mentioned before, but it really amazes me how the news cycle goes these days. Biden did this only last Friday or Saturday It felt stale by Monday. Seeing a new cartoon today covering it makes you want to ask if the cartoonist has been in a coma this feels so long ago. I guess that is the trick with being a political cartoonist these days, nothing you publish is timely and fresh because the news cycle is so rapid.

Not at all like trump who doubles down on his boo-boo’s no matter how obvious/ridiculous. What is strange though is how previously sane republicans will back him (the trump). The wrath of trump has the republicans by the short hairs.. so sad!

The MAGAts have two issues that they continue to use against Biden to attempt to discredit him. One is that is accused of one sexual assault many years ago. Assuming that this is totally true, which is dubious, this is supposed to make us consider him unfit to be president. By contrast, Trump has a history of paying off prostitutes, attending parties where young girls were the entertainment, and brags about “grabbing p******”. Biden wins that one by a landslide.

The second issue is being senile. This is a closer call. Neither man seems to be at his best ever level, but Biden can usually start a sentence and still seem to remember where he was going with it when he stops talking. Trump has demonstrated quite frequently that he no longer possesses that capability. Biden doesn’t contradict himself within two or three minutes, Trump does this on a regular basis. Biden has his facts straight, and remembers them, though it takes him a bit longer than I would prefer. Trump never knew any relevant facts in the first place, and has no desire to learn the information that would make him an adequate president.

So, no I’m not a fan of either candidate, but I know which one has screwed the job up in every possible way in the last three years, and I think it’s time to try something different. Biden couldn’t really do much worse without ending the human race completely.

As a black gentleman said on Twitter yesterday: If you white folks think you need to explain the difference between a stupid remark and a blatant racist, don’t worry, we got this.

I will bow to the inherent wisdom of that and just let it be; got nothing to add.
