I saw that it got quite warm in CA so people flocked to the beaches. Even Californians don’t like it when the government takes their freedoms away. Don’t these people have AC at home?

Legitimate science has shown that Covid19 has a very short lifespan when in direct unfiltered sunlight (because of the UV portion of the sunlight).

As long as distance is maintained, the beach (or outdoors on a sunny day anywhere) may be the safest place to have moderate amounts of folks congregate.

Try to get a reservation to visit Georgia’s governors mansion, they will tell you its closed due to Corona.
