A horrible book, but not as truly awful as Pincher Martin imo.

At a time when the world should be working together to solve the COVID-19 issues to end the isolation/self-quarantines and find safe ways to work and play, the former world leader has irrationally turned to nationalism, xenophobia, and fear-driven exclusion forgetting that none of us is as good as all of us.

I am so thankful that this lunacy didn’t happen when our 4 kids were young. I may have had to do something awful to one as a warning to the other 3 to keep them from blowing up the house or something. :P

Lord of the flies by William Golding was one of the most depressing books I’ve ever read.
