Calvin is a kid of his word.

Hmmm…that was a simple solution…but pity…most of us cant do that…

that actually works…some of the time.

Wow. If i never thought about math or washing dishes, I could be happy all the time!

It works, if you don’t want to be one of those constantly negative people that no one wants to be around.

Oh, the days of youth where that was all possible.. Such a simple mind that grows to become so much more. That happens to us all, we go through youth thinking the best but as we grow, we learn the impossibilities of such a simple happiness.

Calvin’s strategy reminds me of Charlie Sheen’s–claim victory and shut down all perception.

Avoidance of things that ‘bug’ us, has gotten us right where we are. Give up your power to those in power and look what happens. As long as Americans have a roof over their head, booze to consume, sports scores to keep up on, malls to shop at etc., etc., than life is good.

What a happy toon.

There is no problem so big that it cannot be ignored.

I understood Puddleglum’s reference completely, and in her defense she is most welcome on my behalf to include them in her musings about Calvin, et.al. They are always quite interesting, IMHO, and in the case of this present cartoon, right on target….
