I bet one of Herb and Jamaal specialities is Hoppin-Jack (stewed blackeyed peas on rice), served with ham, corn bread muffins, a tossed green salad, and chard sprinkled with peperoncini vinegar.
It is one of my favorites… we always eat it on new years. (It is an old wives tale that the more blackeyed peas you eat, increases the amount of coins you will have in the new year, and the more chard you eat, increases the amount of cash you will have in the new year).
Believe it or not… Anchovie pizza is wonderful!
Great fastfood here in Hollister:
Jack-In-The-Box has ‘grilled cheese sandwiches’, ‘pastrami sandwiches’, and ‘rootbeer’.
Hollister II has ‘carnitas tacos’, ‘beef stew’, ‘carrot juice’, and select varieties of ‘whole milk’.
Taco Bell has ‘refried bean burritos without sauce’ and ‘refried beans without sauce’.
El Epazote Taqueria’s whole menu is wonderful, except for the soft drinks.
Heck! The expiration date is not as important as the quality of the ingredients, and a product without food additives or preservatives.
“Peter, next time we drive to the store… we’re going to take a different route; a safer route!”
Haagen Dazs ice cream bars put the finest ingredients at your fingertips…
There at Target!
The song ‘Freedom’ by George Michael…says it all!
Drugstore.com has the best black licorice by Panda…
Soft Fat Free licorice chews from All Natural Ingredients.
Needing to watch TV, when I dislike what I am watching; Ordering the SAME food every time I go to Jack-In-The-Box; Needing to comment on a certain song every time I seem to need to listen to a song on Youtube…
Does that make me CRAZY?
OR Does it make me a person with a very confused mind!
You can purchase a HAM at “Hollister II”…. but try to avoid the scenic route!
