The GOP wing of the supreme court’s blatant display of callous disregard for the health and well-being of Wisconsin voters in their recent “decision” demonstrates the need for both a mandatory retirement age of justices.
As well, it shows the need for congress to increase the size of the panel to dilute the future influence of the GOP’s judicial harlots.
I believe those judges should personally be present in Wisconsin at the polls to oversee the voting, close up. None of that mamby pamby PPE either. Let’s see if these guys have real SCOTUS’s.
One would hope.. that those images of how Republicans want to play the game.. would be enough to say enough is enough.. let’s fix the problem and vote accordingly. Sadly, outrage does not last long enough to make a difference.
What a shameful spectacle our nation has become in the eyes of the world! Republicans refusing to hold the orange buffoon accountable even in the face of such incriminating evidence of crimes against the nation. Refusing to allow firsthand, eyewitnesses to testify in the impeachment trial. Supreme court justices doing their part to add to the afore mentioned legacy of screwing the country to prop up an incompetent, narcissistic blowhard who only ever thinks of himself! Under this administration we are no longer a nation of law and order, we are not a nation where right, honesty, integrity, decency matter. The orange buffoon (thanks to the above mentioned accomplices) has dug the nation into a very deep hole. It’ll be a long time, if ever, that we return to where we should be.
People should not be having to die once again to have a say in government. My ancestors did that in the 18th century during the American Revolution so that we would not have to.
Shame on the hypocritical cronyism in the Wisconsin Republican LEADERSHIP and their allies in their state courts and the U.S. Supreme Court (where it took only a majority of one to risk lives and maybe kill people) as those Justices remotely voted.
In some nations now people who willingly spread the coronavirus or place enough people at risk (or kill enough, depending on the nation) can be jailed or even charged with a capital offense. Right now, that is really making sense.
It is discouraging to realize that 40% of the conservatives on the Supreme Court are criminals, but encouraging to remember that only 22% of the members as a whole are criminals……..

It’s very sad that first this cartoon is possible, and second that I actually agree with the point.

I would say that if anyone who was in that line up dies, these judges should be charged with murder.

Disgraceful decision ala Citizens United. These clowns should all go outside for a group hug, or more appropriately, a circle jerk.

Will will be stuck with Republican courts for years to come. With ‘Citizens United’, maybe forever.
