I doubt if more than a dozen people will die for their right to vote. Maybe even fewer. Too soon to even guess… even if we did  have sufficient tests and labs.

At least they and the governor tried to do the right thing.

That tombstone also works for young soldiers who died in combat before they were old enough to go to the polls.

One party wants you to be safe and healthy, the other party wants you to die.

Think about that when you vote in November.

Let’s hope the stone isn’t prophetic. Even if it is okay with the elephant in the room.

Since there exists the POSSIBILITY we might still be in some sort of stay-at-home situation at election time – there might be a call for voting by mail (rather than a you-bet-your-life-to-vote-in-Wisconsin one) – is that why the GOTP won’t bail out the US Postal Service?

Really?

A trillion dollars here, a trillion dollars there, flying through Congress faster than greased lightening – but not a few million for the Postal Service to keep the lights on?

If there is no Postal Service there can be no voting by mail.

Is the Republican Party THAT DESPERATE?

If the cons have their way you can just list all the states on that gravestone.

I take my life into my own hands every time I go to the grocery store, so I’d certainly be willing to don a mask and gloves to go vote . . . ONLY if the GOP will GUARANTEE that EVERY polling place will be OPEN in EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD. (And, we all know that ain’t gonna happen!)

It’s the Republican’s dream! Of course, Hair Furor, Agolf Twitler says that it is FINE if HE votes by mail, because HE CAN! No one ELSE is supposed to, though…

GOP: The new desperados, the flim flams, the twit and dumb, the vicious and devious, the cowards and boneless……the greedy and sneaky….

More apt would be: “I tried to vote, but the GOP shot me”.

As Mark Joseph Stern noted, the Fifth Circuit observed that the pandemic is a big enough crisis to allow Texas to make abortions largely inaccessible at the same time thee Supreme Court didn’t see any issue with running an election during a pandemic.

That IS EXACTLY why the GOP is so hot to cancel the Postal Service, and deny mail-in voting. The President* himself admitted, in public on tape, that if they make it easy for people to vote, no GOP candidate will be re-elected.
