Miss Perks seems to enjoy the show, expecially the fire brigade. They are so spectacular, handsome and fearless ♡.

So… Miss Perks’s main interest in joining the mob was not so much the troll as the mob itself? And yes, she could have worn something a bit more attractive, as one does when trying to hook up with pitchfork-wielding vigilantes.

See, the mob’s scheme here was clearly to try and lure the fire brigade here with fire, so they could coerce them into doing something about the troll too while they were here.

Yup. That was totally the plan. Absolutely wasn’t done completely on accident or anything.

Instead of shouting “Ra! Rah!”, Miss Perks should have tried “Obbly! Obbly! Obbly!”. Sure that would have attracted the desirable bachelors of the unruly mob.

(And what’s wrong with a Queen T-shirt, Elodie? It shows she has good taste in music. She looks fine to me.)

I finished reading this story last night. (I have all of the Bad Machinery books). I’m not sharing any details though.

I think it has become quite obvious by now in this story line that you should not tit about with fire.

Maybe one of the lady teachers will find a nice fireman.
