The water stains on the wall, the open panel on the wall with what appear to be wires hanging out, the holes in both socks… Colm obviously doesn’t have the advantages of, say, Mildred or Sonny or even Lottie. (Not that it excuses some of his… less-noble behaviors, but it probably explains where they came from, y’know?)
