So for those wondering, in panel 2, Zardog is saying “Noda ga kawaita”, which basically translates as “I am thirsty”. As for WHY it’s saying that… yeah, I got nothing. (Alas, this will be the last we’ll ever see of Zardog – at least as of the present – so don’t expect any explanation to be forthcoming.)
You know, that magic pencil has an interesting way of interpreting things, doesn’t it?
Of course, I suspect it’s not so much “magic” in the sense that it really creates things out of thin air in that it more rigs a chain of events to get things already existent set on the right path to interact with the user of said pencil at the right times.
Which, if true, would probably explain why the Robot Dog Head is Japanese—it had already been built and existent somewhere in Japan (it would seem just like the Japanese), and the magic pencil just gave it a nudge to divert over England for a bit.

Remember that on February 19, Jesper Bloem said that Archie was “Bombus bombus, the common dog”.

Is this not the very definition of deus ex machina?
Or perhaps this is machina ex deus — a “machine from the gods” sent to save the day

Couple of left-handed shooters. And I hope Jesper pays his assistant well given all the crap he seems to take.
