Don’t argue with someone’s faith, you’ll never win. Argue with them on fact and fact says stay home !!!

“Church” is overrated. It is said that there are no atheists in foxholes, possibly true, but it’s certain that there are no Masses, Communions, Matins, and all the rest of the clergy-supervised activities in foxholes.

I love the “I am protected by Jesus’ blood.” Funny, it didn’t save him. In fact, the roman soldiers bled him to speed up the process. Which would have been nice of them (because crucifixion is relatively slow) except that they just wanted to get back to barracks.

Religion doesn’t work on facts or there wouldn’t be any religion. God will protect them, I heard several preachers say so!

It’s not limited to obnoxious megachurch pastors looking to get their major Easter cash or idiots who say they are “covered in the blood of Jesus” (a quotation from a woman stopped in her car without benefit of mask or anything else); apparently some orthodox Jews are having their big Seders collectively despite orthodox rabbis declaring that having a “Zoom Seder” is completely okay. The real irony of that one is that seders are in honor of Passover – when Jews STAYED IN THEIR HOMES to avoid the Angel of Death, and ate unleavened bread because there was no time to prepare better bread. It’s what Passover is all about!

So many Evangelicals want to be with Jesus in church, and soon will be with him in person.

People who don’t have common sense will suffer….you can still pray in the confines of your home, and the message will get to your god.
