That’s right, Lisa. Just as destructive as the pandemic is the deadly SOCIALIST practice of not letting American workers starve or lose their homes. Are there no workhouses?
Shouldn’t that be Trump on the trapeze? If he hadn’t fired the pandemic response team, ignored the intelligence reports on it, consistently downplayed the seriousness of the situation and been so incredibly slow in facing the problem, it would have been quite so bad. Lisa also believes, as do many republicans, that the jobless claims are so much worse than people dying. If and when the virus is under control, those who are out of work will have a better chance of finding a job to help rebuild this Country.
We all know that Wall Street and the Economy are far, far more important than people dying, if for no other reason than it is making your Chosen One look less than messianic. Thank you for the reminder for those of us too ignorant to understand. I’m so glad you have your priorities sorted out, Ms. Benson. /S
World Mental Health Coalition urges president’s impeachment or resignation for ‘dangerous detachment to reality’ that is making pandemic worseDonald Trump is “so severely mentally troubled that he is a great danger to our nation” and must be removed from office, according to a group of international mental health professionals calling for the president to resign or for the “complete removal” of his decision-making powers leading the White House response to the coronavirus.
Why is Kushner, as utterly ignorant and unqualified for this task as he is for all the other ones he has been assigned, even remotely involved with the government’s effort to deal with one of the most profound challenges the United States has ever faced?
Trump’s ignorant son-in-law is running the coronavirus response. That’s unacceptable.
My wish – probably never fulfilled – is this pandemic will prove our – at least US – society is too unbalanced. I don’t want to count on billionaires/millionaires to donate money to their special interests. I find it reprehensible that a small group of people hoard so much money which they can’t spend in multiple lifetimes yet millions of people are one small check away from homelessness and hunger. This is the 21st century. The imbalance in our society resembles the feudal days, the days of kings, the robber barons. Taxes need to be used to balance society.

Yep. It is a very very tough time. We can get through it together, but better if it’s really together and not fighting about politics.

Not to worry, Lisa.
Jared is on the job, now.
Put there by YOUR GUY.
.
Jared is now in charge, right?
Except that Pence was put in charge.
And the surgeon general sets medical policy.
But Dr. Fauci is addressing the country about covid19.
And that other nice lady.
Until they are contradicted later during the campaign rally.

We have a choice. Save the health care system, or save the economy. I vote health care.

Hmmm… “Jobless Claims are worse than death on a pandemic scale.” (Source: Ms.Lisa Benson) ………. This may be an all-time low, even for Ms. Benson.

With some skillful preparation this could have been mostly avoided. I’m sure we will all be in church for Easter.
