I remember being bored was the tipping point to finding something I was REALLY interested in!

You have to be curious in order to learn.

It’s no fun if it’s permitted.

Some people aren’t happy unless they have something to be unhappy about.

Allergic to anything Green, and Asthmatic to boot, I spent a lot of time housebound as a kid, no sports for me thank you. So I became an avid reader, and model builder.

I’m surprised they don’t have online learning like so many of my teacher friends are having to set up and run. Even those who don’t have online courses have lessons for the kids. Betty needs to be a bit more proactive about his education.

Sounds like he may need a little attitudinal adjustment. Major Payne to the rescue! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO2bKV9NyJ8

Kids here in Utah are still expected to be doing their lessons and homework. Most districts are providing electronic devices to those that don’t have one, and several internet companies have set up wireless networks for those families that don’t have internet. Unfortunately, not all parents are seeing that it’s done and submitted. My nephew, who teaches in middle school, says that roughly half of his students haven’t turned in their homework. A friend was notified by a teacher that her son hadn’t turned in his assignments. She found that odd as she had been supervising him and knew he had done it. After checking it out she discovered that he had forgotten to hit send.

Why is Betty’s son not doing schoolwork? Are other states not requiring it?
