Good point, but how to turn off news, twitter, coffee shops, or the grocery store.

Har de har. There’s a lot of stupid out there. But there’s a lot of good info too. I get most of the good stuff by looking at links or searching for facts about posts that my friends make. And of course, I only “friend” someone who I’d actually like to meet and (in other circumstances) shake hands or hug. And that means people who are biased toward facts and reality.

Believe it or not…I work with ALL trumpbotts….you can’t imagine how stupid they really are when it comes to common sense….OY! I could write a book….

I read a good one in a magazine yesterday. The French government had to put out an official statement that snorting cocaine did NOT prevent a person from getting Covid-19. Apparently, that rumor was spreading like wildfire. No more information on that but I would guess it happened on social media.

Don’t have Facebook and don’t plan to get it.

he spreads more misinformation than anyone else in the world.

There’s social distancing and anti-social distancing. In way too many cases and places we have stepped way over far beyond the line between the two.

Working at a polling place today. They gave us 1 bottle of sanitizer. Glad I brought Clorox wipes.

I check WHO, MN Health Dept, CDC mostly.

I use Facebook a lot to keep in touch with friends and family. When I see misinformation, I call it out for what it is, hopefully helping a few others who may see it.

I used to use LinkedIn for exchanging technical information (mechanical, electronic, software and robotics) but they limited the amounts/kinds of information that was allowed, so now I do use FB, but only for technical information exchange from trusted sources and birthday/holiday wishes for family/friends. Anything else is suspect IMHO.

Wash your face and hands often and disinfect everything THE ORANGE SWAMP TOAD or his administration has come within 10 miles.
