One of the groups I volunteer with will be holding its next meeting online. Some of us haven’t ever even thought of doing that. Could be real interesting…

We still aren’t doing nearly enough testing. It’s unconscionable that Trump won’t reach out to the WHO and try to get kits now. And, he should kiss Germany’s arse and get the treatment.

These are all accountants. They are finding ways to shave some cash off that $50 billion Trump just got. Trump thinks a few million will not be missed, but the accountants are “cooking” the books to hide Trump’s beak dipping.

The task force at the toon’s table seems to understand the problem and the value of distancing better that the close knit mob standing shoulder to shoulder behind Tiny in the Rose Garden the past two days.

The ruling class is loving it. Think of all those foreclosures, and workers desperate for any income at all.

I cannot help but think back to the HIV/AIDS outbreak back in the late 1970s and early 80s. As long as it was considered only a disease of those perverted, sinful Gays, nobody worried about it much. But when it crossed over in the mainstream population, then and only then, was it considered “serious.” Luckily, the coronavirus or Covid-19 doesn’t automatically carry the death sentence that was typical of an HIV/AIDS diagnosis back then. But it is much easier to spread Covid-19 than the HIV virus. It is a real health threat that ignoring and downplaying will not make go away.

We trail not only Deutschland, but S. Korea and China, so there are places to emulate, but Dr. T says he’s the most knowledgeable. Ach du lieber!!!

We know what to do.. We just need to Trump out of the way.
