Those neighborhood squirrels have been noted to cause body aches by the FDA.

Some of oaks in our new yard lean a bit and Honey has been able to get 4-5 feet off the ground chasing a squirrel.

My golden retriever preferred to watch squirrels rather than chase them, but, if my mom insisted, she’d give a half-hearted bark and chase them to the woods. One day, she almost caught up to one and did a tumble as she put on her brakes to avoid it.

I always wondered why my last Lab didn’t have more “neck aches.” He’d spot a squirrel and forget he was on a tether and run to the end of the cord at full gallop until he was yanked to a stop. (Don’t worry, he was never harmed).
