Strange trees in that land Horace lives in. The tree looks more comfortable for Horace after he leaves. We did see one run away once. Énts in the place? Certainly more flexible than ordinary trees they can pass for. (Mimicry of a very different species.) Probably just part of the Land of Houyhnhnms that Horace must live in.
