Not sure how leadership by the person who gets the most votes would “drag down the values of democracy,” whatever that means…

    Food for thought…

A socialist is likely to win the 2020 election. No, not Bernie Sanders.

Unlike his preferred boogeymen (and boogeywomen) on the far left, though, Trump has actually implemented anti-market, Soviet-style, centrally planned policies, and he has used the power of the state to punish political enemies. He has merely chosen different beneficiaries (and victims) of his Big Government bigfooting.,,In some ways, in fact, Trump has proved himself a more successful socialist than Sanders is likely ever to be…Trump, meanwhile, has brainwashed his supposedly free-market party into backing a command-and-control-style economy. When it’s commanded-and-controlled by Trump, anyway. With nary a peep from his party, Trump has tried to prop up pet industries, such as coal, by government fiat…Trump has slapped tariffs on virtually every major trading partner around the world to protect favored industries, such as steel…Already, Trump’s farmer trade bailouts are more than double the size of the 2009 auto bailout…Trump’s version of socialism soaks the poor, not the rich…If conservatives are genuinely frightened by Sanders’s proposed downward redistribution of wealth, they might consider the sort of redistribution practiced by Trump — in particular, the many ways Trump has used his office to redistribute taxpayer dollars into his own pocket.

More and more, I believe Bernie will be the nominee. If he’s has a significant lead after Super Tuesday I don’t think the DNC will be able to stop him. Can he win the general? Of course, he can; because many people don’t realize just how radical and dangerous he really is. They’ll find out if/when he’s the US Chairman, er, I mean “president.”

We will be consumed by a pandemic thus it will be the last man or woman standing who will have the nomination and/or the Presidency.

Bernie can beat Trump. ANY of the candidates can IF all the Democrats get behind whoever the nominee is.

Let’s see one multimillionaire or billionaire spend money on fixing thins and not just on their campaign. Watch me hold my breath waiting for that to happen. I’m not a Bernie fan but I can at least respect him. Nobody in the RePugnantCon party gets that much from me since McCain died.

I’m still pro-Warren, though I don’t really see how she gets there from here.

An old friend of mine said it’s evolution not revolution. America does not want Trump but it doesn’t want a revolution either.

Bernie or bust is an excellent caption. However, last night I thought Crazy Bernie would drop dead from a heart attack with all his red-faced shouting and arm waving.
