Normally February is overcast and very grey , very little sunlight gets through to brighten the day which is why it feels the longest. This year it’s been very mild and quite a bit of sunshine so it hasn’t been that bad.
We actually, and it was VERY unusual, had more days with sun than we had in November, December, and January combined (and maybe throw in October which was unusually cloudy and rainy). On about half the days we had sunshine and even had 3 straight days of 100% sun for the first time in a LOOOOONG time! And the month did go faster than most Februarys.
