    We have many white oaks and there are almost always a squirrel or five in the yard. Drives the dogs nuts.

    I love Basset’s accurate attention to detail when he draws Rover. Like the way he curls his right front paw back so his pads are visible.

    Labs have incredible memories. They know where the found a squirrel, bird, egg, nest, or even discarded edible food. We once has some chicken bones get out of a trash bag sitting by the curb (thanks to some raccoons). Our boy found them and everyday for the rest of his life would stop there an sniff…
