The hypocrisy is the worst part. Clinton HAD to be impeached so the Repubs moved from finding nothing on Whitewater to personal dirt. Kavanaugh (How ironic) suggested the look into personal stuff and the Repubs has to keep changing speakers because Gingrich and Livingston were adulterers. They settled on Dennis Hastert because the public didn’t know yet that he molested teen boys when he was their wrestling coach.

This issue is probably far from over Lisa. The White House Toad can’t help his greedy criminal ways and will eventually go too far in subverting the CONSTITUTION. Just be sure that his criminal minions go back down into their SWAMP, America paves it over with five feet of concrete. Maybe they’ll save a place for Lisa.

No tears here, Lisa, as we all knew this was a sham trial from the moment Moscow Mitch and Lickspittle Lindsey proudly announced they had no intention of taking it seriously. We just wanted to get the Cult of Trump’s treason on record. If there was any surprise, it was their justification. I would’ve figured they’d go with “well, there’s just not enough evidence to convict.”, but then, there’s an absolute mountain of evidence that even they can’t make go away, not even counting the evidence they blocked, so they went with “We know what he did was wrong. We don’t care”. That should win over a few more indies.

Only tears I saw were from the right, who went apoplectic after seeing a grandma tear up some papers with Donnie’s mental diarrhea on it.

For one brief shining moment, I thought Lisa was announcing that there would be no more right wing ‘toons about the impeachment. Silly me. I was wishin’ and hopin’. Goes to show you how distorted your thinking can get when it’s not grounded in reality, though.

That’s not all, folks.

There will continue to be impeachments, since he will continue to commit high crimes and misdemeanors. I predict that his crimes will get bolder, so it will be interesting to see if Republicans will keep kissing the golden turd, or if the president* will hit the fan.

The Democrats wanted nothing to do with impeaching Trump. They were backed into a corner. It was obvious that the Senate would not find him guilty if he “shot someone in Time Square”. As long as the Republicans can use him to stack the courts and issue executive orders supporting their goals, they are going to put up with the fact that he is a raving lunatic and extremely inept con man. There was never any chance that the Republicans in the senate were going to find him guilty, no matter what evidence was presented. The resulting innocent verdict will be the theme of Trump’s nationwide victory tour, screaming that he is pure as the driven snow and the nasty Democrats were just picking on him. Nancy had that scenario figured out in 2016. Heck, I had that figured out in 2016, and Nancy has been doing this stuff for a long time. Consequently, the last thing the Democrats wanted was to impeach Trump. Eventually, however, he pushed them into it. You simply cannot just ignore treason on the part of the President of the United States. To do so makes you part of the treason.

How many Hospitals could have been build with the money that was wasted with this exercise in futility?
