Forget the ring tones. Get Bluetooth earbuds and stand around talking to someone who isn’t there, about something that is of interest (and maybe comprehensible) only to the two of you, even if both sides of the conversation were audible.
I worked at Voice Stream Wireless in 2001, and everyone had those single-note ringtone phones that go off just often enough to break your concentration and get tunes stuck in your head. There was one nearby phone in particular that played “Minuets in G major and G minor”, aka The Toys “A Lover’s Concerto”. This drove me crazy trying to place the song, distracting me from work.
