The guy spewed so much hatred and bile for years, I guess karma finally came knocking. I pray he actually repents and finds true salvation before he finds out that what he has sowed he will truly reap. maybe he can use his remaining time to make amends.

Rush made choices, and there are consequences to those choices. He spewed contempt at those who told him smoking was bad for him. So, entirely aside from the hatred he spewed daily and the endless belittling of those weaker than him, he has only himself to blame for his current advanced cancer.

It would be good for the country when he dies. Another blowhard will take his place, but it will take a lot of time to do as much damage to America as Limbaugh has done.

I will admit, when I first heard him on the radio in 1988(?), I was a conservative and he seemed to give voice to a new type of politics that felt intriguing. Then his rude dismissal of callers who disagreed began to rankle me. But I was younger and immature. Gradually, as I gained more understanding of the “conservatives” I began to feel uncomfortable with their inability to adapt and their selfish negativity. My father was a Goldwater conservative which is a different breed of cat entirely.

Now, it’s glaringly obvious Limbaugh has been really bad for the nation. So I hope he dies quickly.

Rush is such a lovable person none of his wives could stand him even with the lifestyle he afforded them.

Every year, in US, more than 1.5 million new cancer cases are diagnosed. And republicans patriotic response is to take away healthcare. I really wish thoughts and prayers are sufficient for our society’s issues. Because that’s all on offer.

My dad died of lung cancer. I don’t wish that on anyone. I hope his treatment is successful.

Maybe if he sincerely offers a prayer to his god tRump, he’ll be cured.

This is the guy who claimed that Michael J. Fox was faking Parkinson’s, right? And yelled that a woman was a “slut” on the radio for saying that she thought her insurance package should include birth control? THAT Rush? The one who was caught going to the Dominican with Viagra that he didn’t have a prescription for, and without his wife?

I was looking at a like to my comment here and then ran across someone positing “maybe faking it”. I would raise an eyebrow to that until it reminded me of his rant against Michael J Fox, saying he was faking his Parkinsons. And in that diatribe about 12 years ago, Rush pretended to shake uncontrollably. A very tRump thing to have done. A real “compassionate conservative”.
