I’m pretty sure that everybody, maybe even Right Wingnuts will miss his even-handed reporting. Wishing him a well documented tour of whatever good afterlife he believed in.
Jim Lehrer died yesterday. Faux Noose apparently isn’t broadcasting much of the hearings but a lot of Rump’s bluster. One end of the spectrum and the other. Award winning and respected journalist and… not.
Judy Woodruff is excellent as she continues in Lehrer’s tradition as the lead media journalist on the PBS News Hour. Note, please, that I said journalist — not mere news reader. I also greatly appreciate that she has gathered together a group of fine women journalists. And we don’t see them in short, tight skirts as women appear on some other news networks (not to mention names, but the women seem to be required to present Foxy looks).
Fox had Hannity on last night instead of the Senate Trial. He was mocking MSNBC for the orange puss bag in the White House. Remember when Hannity was named as a conspirator in the Mueller Report?
There was a time many years ago when major media outlets considered the news to be a money losing division but necessary to keep the american public informed of current events. Like so many things in corporate now, if it does not make a profit it is discarded and replaced with an inferior yet profitable product.

Cronkite, Brinkley, remembering when network news, not just PBS had journalists of quality, and producers with integrity…

The news now is nothing but biased (and it leans both ways) sensationalism. You can read more believable news in the National Enquirer.
