I really don’t understand why McConnell (and most of the GOP Senators) cannot get their heads out of (someone’s) *ss and see the obvious downside to their behavior… This ’toon is one metaphorical explanation.

Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski are prepping for their usual capitulation with the rest of the Repubs when they had promised to support a REAL fair trial with witnesses and additional documentation. They are feigning shock at things like Nadler saying that the Repubs are covering up for Trump and Schiff repeating a CBS story that said Trump would have any Repub’s “head on a pike” if they voted to approve witnesses. Do they prefer the term protecting Trump over covering up for him? And considering the vile and disgusting things Trump says on a regular basis along with his fondness for making threats, it is VERY easy to picture Trump making that statement.

During the House presentation, the Senate was only allowed water and milk at their desks. But now in the Presidents defense, borscht is being served…

Republicans love Russian money more than the USA.

Wait until Trump finds out that Putin the Puppet Master is pushing for an amended Russian constitution that analysts say will likely see him abandon the presidency in 2024 but remain Russia’s dominant politician in a beefed-up role as Russia’s prime minister or in the government’s State Council instead. Trump is going to claim he had this idea first. Moscow Mitch must already working on his own plan. Will our long national nightmare ever end?
