    In the 60s, the horse was only 1¢. Sometimes there also was a 10¢ horse, but no one was lining up for that one.

    You don’t see those as often but I still remember seeing parents plop their toddlers down on those rides, especially the horses, and without ever having to put in a coin, the kids got a thrill!

    The ride on horse my kids rode was “Sandy.” Its coin counter was broken and replaced with a switch and a sign saying, “Please turn off when not in use.”

    400,000,000,000 cents is is 4 billion dollars or 16 billion quarters. I doubt Red has that many quarters and I doubt that coin box could hold that many quarters. But, it is a cute comic.
