Long story

We had to put dad in a home a year and a half ago. We got him a small ( squirrel proof ) bird feeder for outside his window so he’d have something to watch, ( besides youtube ). Birds where getting more and more aggressive with the food to the point that they emptied it in less than a day. I decided to get a second much bigger feeder. A week later a hawk decided it was a good place for him to feed.

Well at least,Max is trying. Not sure if birds will eat gummy bears.

what a question for the ages (Joan’s, not Wally’s)

How? By moving south or/and panhandling the softhearts. And worse if those two don’t work. It’s NOT a particularly kind world out there.

Looks like Luci is snitching.

Don’t worry – first time the dog goes out, the gummy worms will be gone.

That child has a kind heart. I cover the ground around the feeders with seed after the snow stops. Before the snow, I put out several old plastic tables on the gravel drive and in the yard so there’s ground and gravel for the birds.

Stop the pop ups

I put out bird seed so that the bears won’t go hungry!

How come there are gummis still available if Max knows where they are?

A good sign from Max that he isn’t selfish.
