The consequences of that unity are very very scary to me.

I didn’t see it like that. That’s quite an achievement. Especially for Trump. Maybe there’s hope after all, because those guys are definitely gonna make nuclear weapons now.

And our allies are all looking to abandon us. Which, how come no word in the press about what the UN members have to say about Bonespurs’ actions, and disregard for the law?

This is a prime example of Donnie John trying to project a “Tough Guy” image when he has no clue of what he’s doing – There was a REASON that no past president ever followed up on the opportunity to take the SUDS general out when offered the occasion.

The assassination has united the population of Iran as nothing else could have, and has united the various Shia factions across the Middle East against “the Great Satan”, the U.S.A.!

Trump has just tossed a “Molotov cocktail” into the powder keg known as the Middle East.

Trump, whose idea of “Strategic Long Term planning” is deciding what to have for lunch at the breakfast table, has no idea of what he’s actually done and no plan on how to deal with the war he has so stupidly started.

I can only wish that all the troops and other Americans that will be killed because of Trump’s monumental stupidity would be republicans that were idiotic enough to vote for him in 2016 – but we know they won’t be, and larges numbers of “innocents” will die because of Trump’s ridiculous posturing and buffoonery. Sigh..

Pence, Bolton, Pompeo, and several other religious zealots egged on the Rump to make that strike. They all salivate at the prospect of an all out confrontation in the Middle East.

Not really. This is only what the Iranian regime wants the world to see. Iran is neck-deep in shit and they have spent 40 years building a network of proxies to do their dirty work. Solemanni was NOT part of the government. He was part of the “Revolutionary Guard” which is the Iranian version Hitler’s SS and answers only to the Supreme Grand Almighty Ayatollah Assahola. Maybe he should be the next target….

Trump has stopped a civil war in Iran and Iraq wants to kick us out. He ceded Ukraine to Russia and gave Syria to Turkey and Russia. He has been laughed at at the U. N. and foreign leaders openly sneer at him when they meet.

Now he want to target historical sites in Iran kind of like ISIS did with historical sites in places they occupied. When ISIS did it, it was bad. When Trump does it, it’s — well, he’s Trump so no matter what he does it’s good.

I am so proud to be an American since Trump has Made America Great Again with his foreign policy.

All those people showed up for the funeral by personal choice and patriotic devotion. Or maybe it’s basically a requirement. My Iranian friends in the US are happy Soleimani is dead, as are many Iranians in Iran. He has killed his own people just because they were rumored to be dissidents. Hardliners will accuse anyone they feel is too moderate of being a dissident and that can be enough to get you jailed or killed. Sounds like Germany c. 1938, doesn’t it? Many Iranians will show up for these types of things, chant death to America and death to Israel, then quietly go back to their lives and hope for a better future, free of despots and fanatics.

Now he’s going to unite Iraq by sanctioning ‘til they’ve paid back the costs of our invasion. He’s particularly exercised by the cost of a vast military air base. As Bandy Lee has pointed out, The Chosen One is certifiable as well as ignorant, arrogant, and unrestrainably vindictive.

Many of those “mourners” are forced into the streets by security forces. Many more join the crowds to avoid being targeted as anti-government by local informers. The Iranian street rallies are about as honest as the pro-government rallies you see in the China and the old Soviet Union.
