I feel that there is a hidden story here. Does anybody have any clues?

This one made me tear up.

I get it. Just lost my 14 y.o. lab 2 weeks ago.

I don’t usually get serious but it is true. I got a rescue Lab a year ago. Previously, I”d get winded going up the stairs. Now I walk 2 miles per day. I’m in better shape and enjoy the outdoors more – even in the winter. He is my best friend!

The loss of any fur baby (I’m a cat person) is beyond rough. :(

They lost their dog? Mourning, I presume?

I know exactly how he feels because 7 months ago, I had to help “escort” my sweet little girl to the Rainbow Bridge after having had her by my side for 17 wonderful years. It breaks your heart into a million, tiny little pieces to lose something so dear that you loved so very, very much and I know that I will forever miss her and mourn her passing. As the old saying goes: she was my favorite hello, and my absolute hardest goodbye! :-’(

Did Monty die? I’m assuming Monty was a dog and not a kid.

It is amazing how much emotion and sadness can be conveyed in a two dimensional drawing.

Any good relationship is never about just one.
