I find it somewhat strange that a faction, at least, of the Democratic caucus on Capitol Hill hasn’t begun calling for Trump to resign.

Watched #MoscowMitch on Faux yesterday(?) talking about how the trial is absolutely and actually political, and how anybody who believes anything else is just deluded. Honoring the oath of office never even entered the conversation: It looms so small in his rear view mirror that he doesn’t have any idea that “politics” can be anything except a dog-fight with winners and losers all of whom are elected. His constituents get only the slightest thought, and the rest of the nation’s citizens no thought at all.
