I’m not one for religion, but quotes like these are why I can’t hate on true Christians. They know what it means to love and accept, not hate and ostracize. And on that note, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas. You deserve to.

For those that need to know the reference, it is from the Old Testament book of Zechariah, chapter 7, verses 9-10. Here it is from the King James Version, which is what I use:

9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying,Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor;and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

It was a delight to find this in Baldo today! Thanks! We also read the Bible together on Christmas morning. Thanks for this reminder of what the scriptures say is “true religion.”
