Calmly turn the cat over on its back put the dog over the cat then there will be all kinds of scratching.
Next line from the dog: “Hey, he’s scratching the cat instead of me. Guess I’ll go pee in the living room for the 47th time. And get started chewing up those new leather shoes.”
