@Number Three Today’s strip is slightly funny , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp , sober again , has only got mostly charge sheets to show for his service in the army , why is Flo surprised? :o) my avatar is of an old picture of a Christmas tree that we used to set up in our siting room but we are not doing it anymore because then Cindy used to topple it and now Bella does it :o{ how was your day ? ours should be busy but calm as soon as Connie and Silvana come back from their hairdresser appointment , have fun andthanksfor caring pal.

The Army teaches you a lot of things.

It seems that Andy spent a lot of stockade time while in the army.

Notice the separate hot/cold taps over the kitchen sink.The Brits haven’t discovered mixer faucets yet. I know from experience there.

Family lore says my Great Uncle spent his entire RCAF career charged with drunk and disorderly.

Wait a minute, does Andy get an army pension?

On an episode of Seinfeld, it was mentioned that Kramer once served in the army for approximately one day.

I am betting Andy was discharged under less then honorable conditions.

A-HA! Another proof that Andy Capp IS Beetle Bailey!!Beetle spent most of his military career in trouble. Finally he got into such SERIOUS trouble, he was discharged from the US Army, and fled to England. Several things prove this.1. Beetle and Andy are BOTH bone-idle layabouts.2. Flo is, in fact, Miss Buxley “gone to seed” 3. Both Florrie and Miss Buxley are blondes.4. Beetle never takes his cap off, neither does Andy.
