That explains it: the only way I could figure they got this odd looking architecture was with either paint, or some sort of rubber / epoxy… :-P

So that’s actual syrup pouring onto the roof? Eeeeeyew!

Gawd! I haven’t been to an IHOP in ages. . .
They sure have some interesting eating establishments in that town.
Eww – and you wouldn’t want to eat that syrup after it has gone over dirty shingles and who knows what else….
The design of this restaurant would be a great gimmick for a pancake and waffle place!
