@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp , sober again , is correct that dogs start copying their owners ,so Flo is right in being glad Andy does not own one:o) when I was a kid we had an alsation /mongrel girl dog named Sissi that I used to like like a sister and it broke my heart when we had to euthenize her because she developed a cancer in her colon , my avatar today is of a kitten disappointed that it will not be a tiger when it grows up , the same way that humans see their hopes for their future dashed , how was your day? our Finally Friday should be very busy but calm I hope , have fun and thanks for caring pal.
Dogs are cheaper to own than kids … you don’t have to clothe them, buy them a car, send them to college, bail them out of jail, pay for their wedding, or loan them money which they’ll never repay!
When I was a kid (a LONG time ago) our family always had a pet pooch. Usually a male because we didn’t want puppies. The most common cause of their deaths was being hit by a car. Yes – they did have cars then.
One of my sister’s dogs got into my brother’s pies once and ate them all up when she was visiting him. Another time, I was looking after her dogs for her and one of them chewed up my headphones when I wasn’t looking. Dogs are all right, but they’re not my favorite animals.
