The team will be without one of its star players: reliever Sean Doolittle, who’s set to become the latest pro athlete to snub the President by refusing an invitation to the White House. Doolittle’s move comes after Trump was booed while attending Game 5 of the World Series in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 27.
“People say you should go because it’s about respecting the office of the President, and I think over the course of his time in office he’s done a lot of things that maybe don’t respect the office,” Doolittle, who is actively involved in refugee and LGBTQ issues, told The Washington Post.
Nats catcher Kurt Suzuki got the full reverse POTUS grab from Trump. Another good reason why Sean Doolittle, Anthony Rendon, Joe Ross and Javy Guerra refused to attend the White House ceremony as a way of protesting Trump. Something tells me Trump has used that move quite often, unannounced.

So that’s how the ballplayers from those foreign Islands playing “America’s” game stay.
Kissing ass.

I don’t know whether it’s accurate, but I found a chart stating that, in 2016, 27% of MLB players were Latino. They’re takin’ our jobs! ;)
(Not my job; I was always terrible at baseball. And not the jobs of the vast majority of people).

Except that one brown guy wearing a MAGA hat. He’s OK.
But professional athletes are rich, and rich people have no color (as long as they donate to his reelection slush fund).

Well after all, baseball players make poor resort hotel maids. Otherwise the Weasel would have them on his temporary staff at Mar-a-Lago.

Looks like all athletes have a lot in common with Trump. They may have went to college but they didn’t participate! HI HO>>>>>>>>>>>>
