what an impatient man that plugger is

I often wonder what do they be doing within those hours?

Around here, more like 5:30. :/

Five to 5:00, phone rings. We have to reschedule.

Well, ours doesn’t show up for days.

Trouble shooting is not an exact thing …. you just have to wait your turn ;-)

Cable?? gee grampa what’s cable????

The trick is to be the first appointment of the day.

Ah, I know the feeling well. Landline technician, furnace repair, plumber, etc. are also all the same. Or if you start a project, they show up at a critical juncture.

Sometimes jobs upstream from yours take longer than they thought.

Today, when everyone has a cell phone, we have found that we can actually find companies who will have their people call when they are 30 minutes away and when they would be delayed beyond the agreed time —of course it took some searching for those companies, but they do exist. I simply told them that they had to call because I worked 30 minutes away from home and would need to know when to leave to get there.

This is why we don’t have cable, living near Chicago the antennae on my roof does just fine.

A real plugger has a library card instead of cable.

At 4:45 p.m. two days later!

Well, he sure isn’t dealing with Comcast. Maybe, if he’s lucking the person will show up at 7 P.M. and ask if he or she can reschedule because its too dark to work.
