It worked. I got the idea from Jurassic Park, where they made viable dinos by splicing frog DNA that repaired itself to allow reproduction in the clones. Just a little change to the nanos, a little frog DNA to fill the gaps, so to speak, and the memories are stable and permanent. I’ve reproduced my mind in a new body. I’m elated that my theory of the soul, the self, the ego, the Ka, tagging along to attach to a new seat of intellect is proving out. I was sure, of course, but validation through experimentation is the best proof of anything. My old body can now be discarded, immediately before it wakes. I’m not going back.
