Irony is alive and thriving in more ways than one in the Orange Buffoon’s miniscule mind. Like most people he probably confuses coincidence with irony and he’s the most hateful public figure in my lifetime, doing more to inspire hate crimes than any public figure ever. Lynching indeed!
Interesting how “lynching” has become such a popular term of use for politically weaponized self-pity. Remember when Clarence Thomas used it? Of course it had more salience when used by an African American, even if he happened to be an Oreo.
Okay, now. Let’s have a temporary moratorium on the “lynching” meme, please. Men were sometimes castrated and burned in the process. Public lynching gatherings were held, refreshments served, photos taken and sold.
That, and the genocide against Native Americans, are America’s shame. Never forget, but don’t weaken the tragedy of it by trivial repetition or false comparisons as Clarence Thomas did and Trump is doing. Leave it alone a while: My opinion.
""Psychological projection": a defence mechanism in which the human ego defends itself against unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves while attributing them to others."
Where’s the outrage that should have been screamed from both parties when the Weasel yelled, “Lynching!” from the very depths of his maw? You’d think the “Party of Lincoln” would be the most outraged of any group. Gee, how far they’ve fallen.

Sometimes, the intentional misuse of a word is so out of bounds, it requires a rhetorical swift kick in the teeth, as here.
