Today is Eat a Pretzel Day. Just a couple weeks ago (Oct 7) it was Chocolate Covered Pretzel Day. This time, it’s pretzels without the chocolate. I happen to have a bag of pretzels in my kitchen right now, so I will have to eat one (or more) later today.

National Make a Dog’s Day. I don’t have a dog, so if someone who has a dog can just give their doggie a little extra hug from me, maybe that would do it.

National Color Day. I do have a couple adult coloring books, but I’m not sure I’l find time or the inclination to color today.

National Nut Day. We’re going to have nuts in our break room sat work, but I’m going to miss out on that (unless there are leftovers tomorrow) because it’s my day off and I’m not driving 21 miles just to eat some nuts.

Best of all, it’s the day my new clothes dryer gets delivered. I can expect delivery between 2:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon.

National Colour Day – I wonder if working on my diamond dots projects counts.

National Nut Day – I think I qualify as a nut.

Only lil Oliver isn’t afraid of Lily.

It was nice (albeit a little surprising) for Jack and Chesney to offer to protect Oliver. To be honest, I don’t think, ghosts, growlies, or anything else that goes bump in the night would dare to enter the warehouse with Lily around. On another note, went to a farm to get pumpkins for Halloween. The pumpkin patch was way muddier than I expected. It was almost like a swamp in some places. Next year, I’ll wear galoshes when I go there. Saw some chickens there too.
