My wife and I are well overdue our trip to the beach. we usually go in April (for my birthday) and October (for her birthday) – the weather is good then and the summer crowds are gone. We choose a beach that does NOT have a lot of attractions and is not very commercial.
We sit around, walk on the beach, eat comfort food (occasionally a good seafood dinner), sit on the balcony and watch the pelicans go by while sipping wine and watch the sunrise. In the fall, we’ll catch the late college football games and in the spring watch old movie classics on the DVD.
