It says this is a Mike Ramirez cartoon, but…there’s just too much reality! I don’t know what to think!

Actually, Turkey just bought a bunch of stuff from his buddy Vlad instead of the US, the art of the steal, and Bonespurs even screwed that up.

I’ve seen the “promised dirt on Biden” thing in dozens of cartoons over the last several days. It’s certainly somewhat real, but it’s been done… and the Orange Maroon does so much to give cartoonists things to ’toon about that there must be something better to do.

Also promised that the Trump towers in Turkey would remain untouched and possibly even get a little extra business.

Bonespurs KNOWS that he’s gonna lose, and lose BIG TIME in 2020, so he’s grabbing as much as he can before he’s tossed out of the White House in Jan. 2021… with any luck he’ll do a massive face-plant right in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Just guessing but the trump properties in Turkey probably had a significant influence on his decision. That.. and anything to change the subject of his demise

This is how it starts. The cultists gradually catch on. The psychopath, being mentally ill, is compulsive. He has zero self-discipline, so he will continue his transgressive behavior. The cult members who have misgivings about their cult leader will start to peel away.

First, it will be small things, like Romney saying the psychopath’s behavior is troubling. Then, one-by-one, the “brave” cult members who have some semblance of respect for the American rule of law will start to criticize pieces of the outrageous stuff the psychopath does. The regressives in the Senate will then begin to split. Some will hang on and defend the indefensible. Others will see that the middle of the country is turning against them. Then the psychopath will do more outrageous stuff. A few more regressives will begin to turn.

As the impeachment inquiry continues, the courts will side with the lawful process and begin to demand that the psychopath comply with the laws and the process. Eventually, the dirt will spill out in ever widening waves. The money laundering, the obstruction felonies, the campaign felonies, the fake charity, the probable tax frauds, the insurance frauds, and the abuse of power will all gush out.

Now the true believers (read Eric Hofer) will hang on forever. These are like the doomsday cultists waiting for the rapture. They will be somewhere around 25-30% of the country, the most willfully ignorant, undereducated regressives. Most will come from the former traitor states in the South.

But not yet. This will take another six months to unspool. Pelosi and Schiff have played this as well as could be expected. Once the investigation is done, they’ll be a vote to impeach, the courts will enable a tougher line on subpoenad testimony, and we will see public hearings. Then the middle of the country who are not paying attention right now will pay attention. Then the Senate will remove the psychopath.

That is, if we expect our nation to survive.

    I’ll be kind.

This is a good start. Where do you go from here, Ramirez? How do you redeem yourself? You’ve tied yourself to a racist, sexist, lying, cheating, bastard. You’ve covered yourself in his manure.

    What do you do now?

It’s sort of interesting to see how far Trump can go before he starts losing his adherents. Among the cartoonists on this site, Catalino bailed a while back, Ariail appears also to have bailed, and now Ramirez is apparently having second thoughts. Today in the WashPost, George Will, Michael Gerson, Jennifer Rubin and Max Boot have all called for the defeat of the Republican party in the next election. Even Mark Thiessen, a very tame Trumpista until now, has jumped ship over the betrayal of the Kurds. Maybe if Trump shoots someone on 5th Avenue after all, he does lose supporters. We may have some hope that he’ll finally do himself in.
