The world has indeed been questioning us for a couple of years.
They were happy when we replaced bush with President Obama, but, once they realize that we replaced him with the disaster of trump, next time they won’t be so quick to trust us.
Getting rid of the Electoral College would be a big step forward.
I’m convinced most republicans view the orange buffoon not as a “very stable genius,” but rather as a useful fool. His blatant, utter disregard for the rule of law, fairness, honesty, integrity is mindbogglingly added to with each new day! They clutch his coattails while he systematically destroys the country, thinking he’s cementing right wing tenets for eternity. Partisan politics has never looked so ugly!
It’s time the Democrats play hardball. First up, jail Giuliani for refusing to testify. It is time to fine individuals for contempt. When the fine is ignored, confiscate property and/or place a lien on property. If that doesn’t work, fire up the jail and start making arrests. Defund the White House counsel’s office, come November 21st. And ask Cipollini, the White House lawyer about the legal reasoning for his ‘refusal’ to cooperate to the House. I’m sure there are more ways to go after all the stonewalling, these are just suggestions. We are in a constitutional crisis. Wake up America.
I never believed that such a person as Hump could ever exist. Other models of wickedness, Hitler, Stalin are not Hump’s style. They were driven by power and hatred and fear. Hump by extreme ego mania like an insane football coach (maybe).
The Electoral College concept was set up to keep real power in the hands of the educated elite, starting at the local & State level. The mass of voters were considered too ignorant to directly chose “proper” leadership.

That’s a fantasy of Trumpian proportions, since getting rid of the EC would require a Constitutional Amendment.
I’m pretty sure you already know what that requires and how impossible that is in the current political environment. (But just in case, it’s Article V. of the Constitution, which I’ve summarized above.)
Well, what about “the Kurds and Normandy”? What the hell was that? I’m not the sort of fellow to turn to violence easily, but, trump needs a good dope slap. Maybe a 6 pack of dope slaps and a good boot in the crotch.

I think Graham has decided to be a lickspittle (and that looks more literal all the time) so that DT will make him VP.
